Of all the places in Zeeland, Vlissingen is the most maritime city. Located along the 2-kilometer-long boulevard, where sea ships pass by very closely. Want to learn more about the maritime history of Zeeland? Visit the MuZEEum. The interactive exhibitions and impressive stories make it fun and educational for all ages. Book a tour or city walk and dive even deeper into the stories. Choose from themes such as the VOC, slavery, Michiel de Ruyter, or the Battle of the Scheldt.

Not everything revolves around maritime affairs in Vlissingen. You can also enjoy shopping in the center or playing at Ballorig on a rainy day. Of course, Vlissingen also has many good restaurants: de Gecroonde Liefde, Nopal, or with your feet in the sand at Pier 7.

Every Friday until 9:00 PM most shops in Vlissingen are open & the last Sunday of the month is shopping Sunday.
