Reservation Conditions

Campsite

  1. Camping equipment + 1 car + 1 small tent (max. 2x3m.) per site.
  2. Arrival campsite: after 2:00 PM, departure before 11:00 AM.
  3. During the summer vacation (see price list) only for full weeks Saturday-Saturday.
  4. In the off-season; on any day, after 2:00 PM for a minimum of 3 nights, except for the periods mentioned below.
  5. During Easter and from Ascension until the summer vacation; minimum 1 week and of that at least 7 nights fully occupied, starting on any day, after 2:00 PM (reserve shorter than 7 nights; call a few days in advance).
  6. We reserve the right to change your site if planning requires it.
  7. For reservations of 4 nights or less, your assigned site number is always subject to change.
  8. Combination of discounts (see price list) is not possible.
  9. No compensation for nights you (or other persons) were not present during the reserved period.
  10. No compensation for earlier departure during the reserved period.
  11. If a second car is coming along, mention this when booking. In high season, a second car is limited and only on request. Cost for second car see price list.
  12. Second car must be placed in the parking lot at the front of the campsite (unless otherwise decided by reception).
  13. Overnight visitors must be reported to the reception in advance and paid upon arrival.
  14. Parking for visitors' cars, pick up and pay for parking ticket at reception.
  15. In high season/Ascension/Pentecost/Corpus Christi, no second small tent allowed and max. 6 people per night per site, this includes overnight visitors (babies also count towards occupancy).
  16. No dogs allowed on the campsite (also not from visitors).
  17. Your reservation will be canceled if you have not reported by 6:00 PM on the arrival date, if you arrive later due to circumstances, please let us know so we can keep your place available.
  18. Youths under 17 years without supervision are not allowed.
  19. Groups larger than 6 people are not allowed.
  20. Reservations are only final if, after receiving the reservation confirmation, the prepayment and administration costs have been paid.
  21. In case of cancellation, the administration costs will be deducted from the total amount.

Chalet

  1. Rental only possible per week, from Saturday to Saturday.
  2. Arrival chalet; after 2:00 PM, departure before 10:00 AM.
  3. Later arrival, earlier departure or changes in your reservation request, for any reason, are at your own expense.
  4. No pets allowed in the chalets.
  5. No smoking in the chalets.
  6. Leave the chalet broom clean upon departure.
  7. The chalets are not rented to youths.
  8. No small tent allowed at the chalets.
  9. No compensation for nights you (or other persons) were not present during the reserved period.
  10. No compensation for earlier departure during the reserved period.
  11. If a second car is coming along, mention this when booking. In high season, a second car is limited and only on request. Cost for second car see price list.

Cancellations

  1. Do you not have a continuous cancellation insurance? Then join our cancellation fund, in case of a valid reason for cancellation, you will receive the costs back (less the cancellation fund premium and administration costs).
  2. Cancellation fund must be taken out directly when booking or within 7 days, after this it is no longer possible.
  3. For reservations without a cancellation fund (or own cancellation insurance), the RECRON conditions article 6 apply in case of cancellation.

Cancellation Fund

By participating in the Camping Janse cancellation fund, you prevent the situation that if your holiday cannot go ahead, you still have to pay for it. This cancellation fund covers the cancellation costs of the main person or one of the fellow travelers when the holiday cannot go ahead. Or reimburses (part of) the accommodation costs if the holiday is prematurely terminated due to one of the following events, provided with an official statement. The premium for the cancellation fund is 5% of the accommodation costs.

If you wish to use the cancellation fund, you must clearly indicate this when booking. Without a cancellation fund, the RECRON conditions apply.

Corona

If you want to cancel your reservation due to Corona, the RECRON conditions apply, at this moment the Corona virus is not a valid reason for the cancellation insurance-cancellation fund and cancellation costs are not reimbursed. This means that the RECRON conditions apply.

What is not eligible for payment by the cancellation fund?

  1. When other events than those mentioned above are in question.
  2. An untruthful statement has been made and/or a false representation of facts has been given.

Coverage Cancellation Fund

  1. Death or serious illness or worsening of an existing illness or serious accidental injury of a family member in the 1st or 2nd degree.
  2. In case of premature termination of your holiday due to death of a family member in the 1st or 2nd degree.
  3. In case of premature termination of the holiday due to fire, storm damage or lightning strike at home or household contents.
  4. Involuntary unemployment arising after booking.
  5. In case of a medically necessary procedure that must be unexpectedly undergone.
  6. Definitive disruption of the marriage or dissolution of a notarial cohabitation contract.
  7. Unexpected availability of a rental property or unexpected move, such as due to renovation or change of job location.
  8. Complications during pregnancy.

In case of premature termination of the holiday for the above reason, a percentage of the total accommodation costs (minus cancellation fund costs and reservation costs) will be refunded in proportion to the number of unused vacation days. The fund pays out after the pitch or accommodation has been vacated.

How do I claim the cancellation fund?

  1. You report the cancellation as soon as possible in writing or by email (a written report is also needed after an oral report).
  2. With submission of proof showing the stated reason for cancellation.

The contribution from the cancellation fund can never exceed what you have paid to Camping Janse, reduced by the participation costs of the cancellation fund and the reservation costs of the booking. You will hear within a week after receiving your written confirmation of cancellation whether your appeal to the cancellation fund is justified.
